I received one of these as a gift and had to go out and buy a second. Here's the pros:
    1. It keeps my son warm at night. At first I didn't think he needed it because it was summer, but he does because the AC is on.
    2. It's safe and he doesn't kick the blankets off.
    3. Easy on Easy Off. The inverted zipper is perfect for middle of the night diaper changes, so much easier. Plus baby doesn't scratch himself with it. (Love Love Love this feature!!)
    4. My son only used the swaddle feature the first few nights home from the hospital. I'm happy it was there and super happy that the sleep sack can still be used now that he's done with swaddling.
    5. The sleep sack washes well! However, the velcro on the swaddle portion sticks to everything in the wash. So be careful what you wash it with.
    6. I love the material, it's light weight and perfect for summer. I do wish they had a version without the "back to best" logo. It's a good reminder but I wish there were other choices for those of us who already know back is best.

    « I love Halo Sleepsack Swaddles! »
We have the newborn size for our baby and she loves it. She sleeps in it every night. She doesn't like her arms swaddled so we leave her arms out. I like that the Halo sleepsack swaddles are basically 3 in 1. You can swaddle with arms in or out, or you can use it just as a sleepsack. I'm going to buy the size small and hope that lasts me until she's ready for just sleepsacks since they don't carry this in a larger size. We have this cotton version and it holds up well after many washings. I like these a lot better than the summer infant swaddlers, since our baby easily gets out of those. I tried the summer infant with arms out and it falls down. Plus she can easily kick off the bottom velcro part. I've tried the summer infant with arms in and it was almost over her head when I checked on her in the middle of the night. So I haven't used it since. I know some people like the summer infant swaddles but they haven't worked well for us. I would highly recommend the halo sleepsack swaddle for those who want versatility and safety.

    « Good but... »
I got the small size swaddle because my daughter still likes to be swaddled at night but is too big now for the newborn size. I liked that these swaddles could be used as sleep sacks once she grew out of being swaddled- I thought I was getting more bang for my buck. Unfortunately, I found out that if your baby is any good at getting out of the swaddle (and mine is) that you may have a real problem. Even though the swaddle part velcros down my daughter was able to pull it up and then it would bunch around her neck. I decided this was not safe and went back to using the Summer Infant swaddles. They stay put much better. The only problem with the Summer Infant swaddles is that they seem a little short.
